Want to work with me?

In the early spring, I will need to hire a part-time contractor to help me in my assembly business. You will be assembling prefabricated products at my client's backyards--items like swing sets, sheds, gazebos and pergolas among other items.  Once it gets into late spring, I will have close to full-time hours available. The pay is per job, but generally works out to about $18-$25 hour. The more projects you do, the faster projects will get done, and the higher the pay is per hour.

 

Requirements:

A good candidate is generally handy with and owns tools like impact drivers, drills and hammers (if you don't have tools, we can discuss options). They are also able to lift 50-100 lbs on occasion, has good spacial awareness and problem solving skills, able to follow written instructions, and has reliable transportation.

 

Most of our projects are done two person teams. If you have a helper already and you'd like to apply as a team, please note that on the application.

If you're interested, we'll try a project or two and then we can both discuss if it's a good fit. If we decide to continue working together, I'll need you to complete an IRS W-9 form for tax purposes.
